Gamer Guildhall

It's been a wonderful season of growth and development for Gamer Guildhall. We've continued to explore new avenues of opportunity and have strategized accordingly. New projects are on the horizon and we're establishing a foundation to launch them. Part of this foundation has been making sure many of those things already developed are performing optimally. Several portions of the site and external pages have been updated, as presented below:

FAITH STATEMENT

We've added a Faith Statement to the About section of the website. It reads as follows:

At Gamer Guildhall, we believe that life is an adventure and that games are a reflection of and desire for that adventure. (Hence our tagline: Adventures In Gaming.) The ultimate adventure is the one each person takes by faith in Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God who died for our sins. While we don't force that faith on others, it is a belief that is at the core of our principles and the guiding light on our journey. Anyone is free to enjoy our services in whatever walk of life they find themselves, but we do invite you to know more about Jesus.

NAME TAG SYSTEM

An update to our system for tags in articles now utilizes multiple search listings. Previously, game titles were noted in articles along with all the other descriptive tags. We've separated them into their own classification we refer to as Name Tags. This will allow for easier visual recognition of the feature that allows article searches by similar game name. All other descriptive tags associated with an article will continue to be shown within the Read Tags listing.

META TAG IMPROVEMENT

The "meta is betta"! We've made a number of improvements to our meta tags within the website. Firstly, we corrected a symbol that looked very much like an apostrophe, but was not being recognized as a regular text apostrophe. This was causing certain tags to not be read, which is now fixed. A few new tags have also been added to help with proper display and description in social media.

SOCIAL MEDIA UPDATE

Speaking of social media, we've expanded our presence on certain platforms. In our previous Newsletter, we had noted that we were re-examining the venues that we were making use of. With the recent addition of our Faith Statement, we've decided that the best move was to set ourselves up to reach as many people as possible. When it comes to faith, Jesus did say to go into ALL the world and we take that seriously. We know that social media has become a political divide with preferred platforms, but we're not here for politics. We're here to help others share in the adventures of life and connect through gaming. As always, you can see all our current social media links on our Social page.
