Jagex Ltd. has sent out some e-mails concerning their MMORPG Runescape that may affect many players. The e-mail announced that they are "gearing up for another name release". It is unclear if inactivity is a determining factor or how long that inactivity has had to persist if a metric. The e-mail does specify that to avoid having a character name released, "simply log in before the end of the year".
