World of Warcraft is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Blizzard Entertainment and set within the fantasy Warcraft universe. Players interact with this game amidst the conflict between the factions of the Alliance and the Horde. Gameplay elements include quests, dungeons, raids, open-world player-versus-player (PvP) combat, arena PvP matches, team PvP battlegrounds, pet battles, and guild system. This MMORPG was initially launched in North America / Australia / New Zealand on November 23, 2004, in South Korea on January 18, 2005, and in Europe on February 11, 2005. Subsequent expansions have since been released.
