Books
Words not only paint a picture in the mind, but paint the picture that paints the picture. A descriptive story can evoke mental imagery that can be used to later tell that same story in a more visual manner. I eventually saw that many visual types of media such as films, shows, and games originated as books. I find that it helps to put one's thoughts down in a verbally organized manner to build future projects from that platform. I currently have several books written with others in the works.
Games
This is one of my favorite ways to tell a story as it allows for a deep level of immersion. Players generally get to create a character to explore a game world through the decisions they make. I've been able to work with a couple different design teams in the process of creating unique games. In each experience, I've brought my ideas to an already established plot. My ultimate goal, which I am actively working on, is to create games within my own original storyline.
Websites
Sometimes you need a way to tell a story about the story. Websites are a great way to convey information about a topic to an unlimited audience. At this time, I am operating a couple main websites with minor websites under them. One is for gaming and the gamer community and the other is for Christian faith. Both topics are important in my life and are meant to add value to the lives of others. I intend to launch new sites with each new project I develop to help spread the word and keep those interested updated.
